Asus launched its mid-priced range Smartphone Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M1) at an event in Delhi to compete directly with Xiomi and Honor which already served various smartphones of this range. Major specifications include 5000 mAh long lasting battery, 5.99-inch Full HD+ IPS display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC and runs on latest Android Oreo 8.1. Currently, it will be available in Midnight Black and Grey colour options.
Asus has partnered with Flipkart to offer complete mobile protection like broken screens, liquid damage, hardware and software imperfections at just Rs. 49 for a year.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 launched in two variants. The smartphones with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage costs Rs. 10999, while 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage will cost Rs. 12999 and the storage can expands via microSD card (dedicated slot). The smartphone hosts a fingerprint scanner at the back.
Zenfone Max Pro M1 exhibits a dual camera setup at the back with a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.2 aperture) and a 5-megapixel secondary camera for depth sensing and the front offering an 8-megapixel selfie camera where both rear and front camera got soft-light LED flash.
Zenfone Max Pro M1 connectivity include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2 (with aptX), GPS/ A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone also includes Face Unlock sensor, fingerprint sensor etc.
The company has also announced to launch Zenfone Max Pro M1 6GB variant at a price of 14,999. Though it is not yet clear when but it will be ‘soon’.
